Partner with VHHS for National Job Shadow Day

February 2nd, 2026

 
Vestavia Hills Community,

The Career and Technical Education (CTE) Department at Vestavia Hills High School is excited to invite you to participate in National Job Shadow Day on Monday, February 2, 2026 (Groundhog Day). This special event provides our students with an invaluable opportunity to experience the world of work firsthand and to learn from leaders like you.

We are seeking business partners and community leaders willing to host our CTE students for the day. Your participation would make a significant impact on their educational and career exploration journey.
 

Host Requirements

  • Host a minimum of three students from 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM on 2/2/2026
  • Provide a structured schedule that exposes students to a variety of workplace activities
  • Provide lunch for the students
  • Share clear instructions for your workplace, including: arrival and parking directions, dress code requirements, and any additional expectations unique to your work environment
